Christmas Time Ins and Outs :-)

Hi ladies,

Sorry its been a while, hope you're all ready and excited for Christmas - I definately am (excited that is - ready....not so much!) I thought I'd give you a little update with my current ins and outs :-)

In

Revlon photoready foundation - I ran out of my holy grail foundation last week (Stila's illuminating skin foundation) and as this has a similar concept I thought I'd give it a try. A week in and I am pretty impressed! This is a really good colour match for my skin (I'm using 002 vanilla) its light and has great staying power.

Costa frosted mint hot chocolate - Heavenly!

Christmas Decorations - I love having the Christmas decorations up in the house, it always looks so empty when they go down! We have a real Christmas tree this year which looks fab!

The Puffy Pony - This is a hair styling tool which my mum bought me from Claires accessories. It is basically a comb which you put just above the hair band of your pony tail then let your hair fall over it. It has helped me achieve some fabulously voluminous up do's!

Love Actually - I adore this film, My favourite part is below - It brings a tear to my eye every time!

Out

The weather - My goodness its cold! it seems to be rarely out of the minus figures at the moment, I'm currently sporting two duvets on my bed and my beloved uggs rarely leave my feet!

Pens...without lids on...in your leather handbag - Enough said!

Wrapping Christmas presents - I love buying presents for people, but wrapping them not so much! Especially ones which are awkward shapes, I always seem to cut the wrapping paper just a little too short too - what a fail!

X factor - I'm sad its over! I liked Matt, but I really wanted Rebecca to win. Who were you rooting for?

and thats everything! I hope you all have a really lovely Christmas and a fab New Year :-)

(Slightly Belated) November Favourites! :-)

Hi Ladies,

So its time for my slightly late November favourites. Sorry for the delay - with the snow, the rising panic of not having bought many people Christmas presents and far too much work to do life has got a little hectic! Anyway, enough rambling and on to the products!

1. Soap and Glory Girligo - This spray on body moisturiser has been on of my go to products since the cold weather started. Its really quick and easy to use, it leaves my skin feeling moisturised and refreshed and it smells delicious!

2. St Tropez wash off instant glow body lotion - I was sent this for review purposes and have been so impressed that I have bought it to go in a certain someones Christmas stocking (I hope they don't read this!). It gives a lovely natural golden colour, and the formula leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. This is by far my favourite instant tan, look out for a full review coming soon :)

3. MAC Creme Cup Lipstick - This is my current go to lip colour. Its a subtle, glossy pink perfect for day to day wear and as it's a cremesheen it has a lovely, moisturising formula.

4. Sephora by OPI Metro Chic - This is the first of my two Winter nail varnish loves. Metro Chic is a dirty lilac toned grey. It looks fab with chunky knits and boots :-)

5. OPI My private Jet - I forgot how much I love my private jet! Its a unique glistening grey/brown. One of my favourite OPI colours.

6.Organic 7th Heaven Chocolate Nourishing Mask - I've not been feeling too great lately, and a bit of a pamper with a face mask always cheers me up! This deep cleansing mask is one of my favourites, it contains organic cocoa butter and peppermint and leaves my skin feeling lovely. It does of course smell fantastic too!

7. MAC MSF Natural - A little boring I know but I lost this product a few days ago and couldn't believe how much I struggled without of it! I apply this with my MAC 187 all over my face after concealing any problem areas and I'm done! It has great staying power, and gives my face a flawless finish.

and thats everything! Hope your all getting into your Christmas shopping, are you asking for anything exciting for christmas?

Have a fab week!

Product Of The Week: Batiste Brit

Hi Ladies,

Its time for a new product of the week! :-) Batiste dry shampoo has been a firm favourite of mine for absolutely yonks so when I spotted this new scent in superdrug the other week, i popped a couple of bottles straight in my basket!

Batiste Brit has a really light, fresh scent which I love. I use this inbetween washes to refresh my hair and add a little extra volume. I like the scent of this one so much it might even replace batiste diva as my favourite dry shampoo!

9/10 and a big thumbs up from me!

Nails Of The Day - Essie Exposure

Hi Ladies

Although we're well on our way into Winter (hello chunky knits and hot chocolate!) lately I've been loving bright vibrant nail colours - who ever said you could only wear them in Summer?! So I thought I'd share with you the polish I always seem to be reaching for at the moment - Essie Exposure.

Exposure is a fabulous true, hot pink with no shimmer. It is one of the best nail polishes I own for application. After two coats it gives great opaque colour and the formula is not at all streaky. It also has a lovely high gloss finish - what more could you want!

Essie definitely get a big thumbs up from me for this one! Which nail colours are you reaching for at the moment?

Hope you're having a fab weekend,

Haircare Favourites :)

Hi Ladies! :)

I am forever on the hunt for my new haircare holy grail, and if I am ever going to be tempted into buying something I don't need it is more often than not to do with my hair! Who can resist a something which claims to make your hair shinier, healthier and thicker?! Not me apparently! Anway enough waffling! Aside from all my frivolous haircare purchases there are some products which are staples in my haircare routine, and I thought I would share them with you :)

1. CHI Silk Infusion - I love this product! I use a teeny tiny amount on the very ends of my hair after towel drying and it leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth and glossy. The best thing about it is that as you use such a small amount at a time it lasts for ages!

2. Mark Hill Heat Protection Spray - I have tried allsorts of different heat protecting sprays/serums/creams and this is the best I have come across. It is really lightweight and doesn't leave your hair feeling heavy with product. It has a light scent which isn't overpowering and it works really well on damp and dry hair - excellent!

3. Sheer Blonde Healthy Attitude Leave-in Nourishing Spray - This another great lightweight product which has the added bonus of a heat shield. I spray this generously all over my hair before I dry it and I find it leaves my hair feeling healthy and soft.

4. Loreal Elnett Hairspray - This is the limited edition Cheryl Cole version (Cheryl Cole + a pretty bottle - who can resist?!). For me, Elnett is the best hairspray on the market, it has incredible hold, doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or crispy and brushes out easily at the end of the night.

5. Sheer Blonde Gleam Creme - Another favourite sheer blonde product, I always have atleast two of these on the go at once - one in my room and one in my handbag! If the ends of my hair are ever feeling dry, I smooth a pea sized amount of this through and they instantly feel soft and nourished.

6. Insette Volumising Hair Mousse - This is a total bargain at less than a pound! I often use it to add a little bit of volume to my roots or to help my curls stay put and unlike some hair mousses it doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky or greasy.

and thats everything! Let me know what some of your favourite haircare products are :)

Bargain Of The Week: Stila 4 Pan Palette :)

Hi Ladies :-)

If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know that Stila is probably my favourite makeup brand. Their illuminating liquid foundation has been my holy grail product for years and their eyeshadows are some of the best I've ever used. I have a few Stila eyeshadow palettes then a few eyeshadows in pan form which I've ummh-ed and ahh-ed over buying a palette for for ages. So I'm sure you can imagine my delight when I spotted this total bargain in Tk Maxx the other day!

A four pan palette for £2.99! I was so chuffed I practically skipped to the till! It is the perfect size, and has a huge mirror inside, great for taking away for weekends or just popping in your handbag. My three pan form eyeshadows now have a lovely new home!

There were some other Stila bits and bobs and also a few NYX palettes and Calvin Klein products too so it's definitely worth a look if you're passing TK Maxx anytime soon. I just need one more eyeshadow to complete the family now, does anyone have any suggestions?

Hope you're having a great week!

Ins, Outs and I'm guest blogging at Zuneta! :-)

Hi Ladies

I've just settled down with a cup of tea and a biscuit so I thought I'd give you a little update on things with me in the form of an ins and outs post (who doesn't love these!).

In

MAC brule eyeshadow - I'm loving this eyeshadow at the moment, it's perfect for effortless ''no makeup'' makeup, and looks fab all over the lid with winged liquid liner. My go to look at the moment!

Getting active - Last week I went to two aerobics classes and my first ever yoga class (which was so relaxing!). I felt so refreshed and full of energy afterwards, I can't wait to go back this week!

Christmas shopping - To spread the cost of Chrimbo I have oficially started my Christmas shopping! I've only picked up little bits and bobs so far, but Its made me so excited! I know its early but I'm feeling a little festive already! :-)

Marc Jacobs, Lola - Since the cold weather has definitely started I decided it was time to put down my summer scent (Nina by Nina Ricci - I love this) and change it up a little. I got Lola for Christmas last year and it is lovely - Light, fruity and floral :)

The Million Pound Drop - I was addicted to this programme last time it was on - and I am again! I think the concept is fab and I even roped the boyfriend into playing along with me last night (We didn't make it past three questions - massive fail!)

Out

Brrrr its cold in here! - I can't believe how quickly it has become so cold. I've already got out the scarves, mittens and hot water bottles! It also seems to absolutely tip it down every time I walk into Uni at the moment - time to invest in a properly waterproof coat I feel!

Nude lipstick - Don't get me wrong, I still love my nudes but at the moment I've been really enjoying wearing brighter lippies, MAC's Snob is my current fave :)

Teeny tiny bottles - I've run out of my Sephora primer after less than a months use. why oh why can you only buy a o.o5 oz bottle!

and thats all my ins and outs for the moment! :) I also just wanted to let you know some exciting news - I'm doing a couple of guest blog posts on Zuneta in the next few weeks - yippeee!
My first post went live today, and it is all about my top tips for getting happy healthy hair. If you would like to take a peek you can do by clicking HERE! :-) It would be lovely to have some feedback from you all! :)

Hope you're all having a lovely week, and its not too cold where you are!

Product Of The Week: NYC Liquid Eyeliner

Hi Ladies,

The latest product of the week is NYC's liquid eyeliner, which I picked up about a month ago from superdrug for £1.99 and have used almost daily since!

I have been really impressed with this liquid liner, it has a thin, flexible applicator which makes it easy to create thin and thick lines (after a little practice!) and although it does start to flake slightly towards the end of the day, I find it incredibly long lasting compared to other liquid liners I have used.

I picked up number 860 Jet black, which is a fairly intense black but still soft enough for wearing during the day. This eyeliner takes a little longer to dry than others I have used, but it doesn't both me too much - I've actually found it quite helpful for correcting mistakes!

So like most NYC product I've tried, this eyeliner gets a big thumbs up and 7/10. I expect higher end liquid liners do perform better, but If you're looking to save some pennies I can definitely recommend this one :)

P.s I just wanted to say thankyou so much for all your comments on my last couple of posts, I'll definitely do some reviews of the products in my last post once I've given them all a good try :)

A little Haul :)

Hi Ladies!

I just thought I'd share with you a few things I have picked up over the last couple of weeks. With Christmas coming up I have tightened those purse strings so this will probably be the last haul for a while, I've actually started writing down everything I spend daily in a bid to save some pennies!

So - Onto the products!

1. MAC Fix + - I've actually never used fix + before, so after hearing so much about it (refreshed long lasting makeup yes please!) I thought it was about time I gave it a try. I've only used this once so far as a finishing mist and am yet to try using it as a mixing medium so look out for an update on what I think to it :)

2. MAC Creme Cup lipstick - I was looking for a new lipstick for day to day wear and creme cup definitely fits the bill. Its is lovely wearable pink, and has that fabulous glossy cremesheen finish - I just hope it doesn't start to melt too soon!

3. Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara - I picked this up on offer in superdrug last week and have been using it daily since. I actually really like it as a mascara, its got a medium sized tapered brush, and applies really well but I'm yet to see any lash accelerating effects! Although I do like this mascara, it hasn't wow-ed me so I'm not sure yet whether I'd repurchase.

4. Bobbi Brown foundation Stick Compact - This is the compact version of the Bobbi brown foundation stick which I picked up at a CCO. It can be used as both a foundation and a concealer, but I have only used it as a concealer (I prefer liquid foundations). On first impressions it has a creamy, buildable consistancy and the colour I went for (porcelain) is a really great match for my skintone :)

and thats everything! Look out for a new product of the week coming up soon (its a bargain buy too!) and hope you're having a lovely week. I'm going to a yoga for the first time tonight (eek!). Then I'm definitely ging to be settling down with a cup of tea to watch the apprentice!

Current Favourites :)

Hi Ladies,

So I think I have pretty much missed the boat for September favourites! So here are some of the lovely things I am reaching for at the moment, and a very recent purchase which I am in love with already! :)

1 - St Moriz tanning mist - I purchased this a couple of weeks ago after using the St Moriz tanning mousse for a while and I like this spray version just as much as the original (if not a tiny bit more!) Its quick and easy to apply, and gives a lovely sunkissed colour - thumbs up all round!

2 - Sheer Blonde Gleam Creme - This product never leaves my handbag, and I have used it regulary since I was about fifteen so I thought it was about time I showed it some love! It refreshes the ends of my hair when they start to feel dry and tames fly aways without leaving it greasy, this is one of my favourite hair products.

3 - NYC creme blush in plaza pink - I picked this up on my holidays this summer and I'm so glad I did! its adds a lovely peachy pink glow to the cheeks and is really easy to apply - just twist it up, pop a little on and blend with your fingers - easy peasy! :)

4 - NYX lipstick in Paris - This has been the lippie I have been reaching for most recently on nights out, its a fabulous bright pink with great staying power.

5 - MAC eyeshadow in Naked Lunch - I love this eyeshadow, so much so that I only have the tiniest bit left! it's a really subtle champagne pink with just the right amount of shimmer. I would definitely say this is my most used eye shadow, it looks great teamed with pretty much anything.

6 - MAC eyeshadow in Corduroy - Another favourite eyeshadow, corduroy is a matt brown which I use in the outer corner to add a little extra definition although it might look a little boring in the pan, this is really well pigmented and easy to build upon - I love it!

7 - Kinder eggs - who doesn't love kinder eggs! They always cheer me up (especially right now when I'm completely full of cold!)

and finally, my new hair straightners which are right at the top of my favourites list! After months of being straightner-less, and then a few attempts at cheaper brands (which were no match for my ridiculously thick hair!) I finally decided to spend some pennies on a new set of GHD's.

This is the limited edition pink patterned IV styler for breakthrough breast cancer. I love the detail on them, and they came with a lovely heat resistant mat and case which I think will be great for travelling! Unlike my older GHD's these have the new sleep function, where they turn themselves off after 30 minutes of not being used and they also seem to heat up much quicker :)

Hope you're having a great week!

Nails Of The Day and Product of the week :)

Hi Ladies :)

Sorry for the recent lack of posts, i'm in the middle of moving house so things are pretty hectic! But I'm back with a short and sweet nails of the day and a new product of the week :) So as we move into Autumn (hello rain and gale force winds!) the nail varnish I have been reaching for most often is the very lovely Sephora by OPI Metro Chic, which I am sure you will have all seen before! :)

Metro Chic is a really unique dirty lilac toned grey, perfect for teaming with cosy chunky cardi's an jumpers as we enter these colder months! I have not tried any other polishes from the Sephora by OPI collection, but this applies great and lasts really well even without a topcoat.

You may have noticed that in the top right hand corner of my blog there is a product of the week feature which I try to update roughly weekly! I've decided to a little post each time I change the product of the week so I can let you know in a nutshell why I'm enjoying it so much! So this week the product in the spotlight is Elf's studio blush in Candid Coral :)

This blush is possibly my all time favourite product from elf, it is absolutely gorgeous and a total bargain for only £3.50. It's a lovely warm peachy coral with shimmer (but not too much!) which adds a pinch of colour and a lovely glow to your cheeks. I also find that this blush is the perfect size for popping in your handbag, and although I have had it for atleast five or six months I am no where near hitting pan so there is plenty of product too - I love it! :)

Hope you're having a great week!

Ins and Outs :-)

Hi Ladies

Its been a while since I did one of this posts, so I thought I would fill you in with my current ins and outs :)

In

Lush dream time temple balm - I picked this up a couple of weeks ago as sometimes I have real trouble switching off and getting to sleep on a night. This smells really soothing and relaxing and I do think it may have helped a little bit! The lush sales assistant told me that this was being discontinued so I'd pick one up soon if you want to try it :)

NYC liquid eyeliner in jet black - I really like NYC cosmetics they're really affordable and their nail polishes are fantastic! I have used this liquid eyeliner daily since I bought it, and it was only £1.99 what a bargain!

X factor - Its boot camp next week and I really enjoy X factor once the first round of auditions are out the way ( I can't stand watching the bad auditions - ultimate cringe!)

Disney - I've just come back from a few days at disneyland Paris with my best friend, I had such a fun time and it was a great way to finish the summer. I like going on the rides but my favourite part of being in disneyland is definitely the parades :)

Notice how grey the sky is in the 2nd picture - it makes the castle look a bit scary! It absolutely tipped it down an hour or so after I took that picture!

Out

Opaque packaging - You think you've got loads left then one day you've completely run out with no warning...very bad times

Kitten heels - I know they're coming back into fashion but they're definitely not for me, even if they do have a very very cute name!

Umbrella's - Why oh why do I always buy the pretty but not so sturdy umbrellas which blow completely inside out when its not even windy! I almost took off like Mary Poppins the other day!

and thats everything! I hope you're having a lovely week :)

A little Nail Polish Haul :)

Hi Ladies,

After being suitably impressed with my first essie purchase a few month ago, the lovely
carousel coral. One very rainy (supposedly summers) day I decided it was time to try a couple more - and the infamous seche vite top coat! :)

They are (from left to right) Van D'go, Seche Vite dry fast top coat and Lilacism :)

I love pastel nail polishes, I think they're really flattering (especially on my short stumpy fingers!) however they can be a bit of a nightmare to apply (hello OPI's mod about you!). Although both van d'go and lilacism look absoutely gorgeous when applied, they both have some familiar pastel nail polish problems!

Van D'go is a stunning pale pinky peach, I knew I would adore this colour as soon as I set my eyes on it, and although the finished product looks fantastic, this applies very streaky and is quite hard to work with. It took me a few attempts to get the application right first time, but for me its worth it for the gorgeous colour!

Lilacism is a really light lilac, very pretty! I didn't find this as hard to work with as van d'go it actually applies really well. However it is very sheer and it took three coats for me to get the coverage I wanted.

This picture was taken about 5 days after applying so I have been really impressed with its staying power, there is only one tiny noticable chip. I've also had lots of compliments on this nail colour - result! :)

I havn't actually used the seche vite yet, so I will let you know if it lives up to expectations! I am so impatient when waiting for my nails to dry, and I'm forever smudging them so I'm really hoping this topcoat does what it says on the tin!

Overall, for me both of these essies seem to have flaws in their formulation. However I am willing to overlook them for the fabulous colours, and they are both definitely up there with my favourite nail polishes :)

Can you recommend any Essie nail colours?

Because, well - Who doesn't love travel size!

Hi Ladies,

So as you know from my last post, I've just come back from my holiday in New York, and I thought I would share with you the cute little travel size products I took with me! I normally steer clear of travel size products, and in the run up to my holidays will put aside shampoo's and conditioners etc when they get about half empty (I will never understand why travel size products are often twice the price of their full size counterparts?!) But for some reason, when picking up some last minute bits and bobs a few days before my flight, I found myself lured in by the cuteness of these teenie weenie bottles and before I knew it, I was in the queue for the tills with a collection of them in my basket - Oops!

I love soap and glorys clean on me shower gel, its smells amazing, is really creamy, luxurious and suprisingly quite moisturising. I have used this in full size before as its been bought for me a couple of times in christmas/birthday gift sets but I'm reluctant to buy it as my daily shower gel as it costs around £5.00 which for me is a little pricey! I'm definitely going to watching out for any offers on soap and glory in boots though :)

Although I have used some aussie products before I had never tried the miracle moist shampoo and conditioner, so this was the perfect opportunity to give them both a try. The miracle moist range is formulated for dry damaged hair and contains queensland macadamia nut which is supposed to help condition and smooth the hair. Like other aussie products these both smell divine, sometimes I find hair products which focus on adding moisture to your hair can leave it feeling really lank and heavy but with these it was completely the opposite - bouncy, light and fresh!

and finally, that product which I just can't stop talking about - Superdrugs dry shampoo, this time in the scent head in the clouds. Again, I really love the smell of this product and I really like the fact that is sprays completely clear. However I would still reach for my trusty batiste diva when my hair needed a serious refresh as I do not find the superdrug version to be as good at absorbing the oil from my hair (something which I noticed more with this travel size version). I still have some of the full size version of this product left and I think I will definitely repurchase it - it is great for a light refresh, or adding a bit of extra volume but I'll keep a bottle of batiste on standby for those very bad hair days!

I still have quite a bit left in all of these, and I have one more mini holiday left this summer - to the most spectacularly magical place in the whole of Europe - can you guess where!? So they will be jetting off with me one last time. However I'm not sure if I'll be splashing out on travel size products next year - we'll see!

Do you buy travel size products before you go on holiday?

Speak Soon!

A little Holiday Haul :)

Hi Ladies,

I have just got back from an amazing holiday in NYC (I didn't want to come home!) and I picked up a few beauty related items so I thought I would share them with you :) Suprisingly, I didn't really do that much shopping, I was too busy seeing all the sights! But I'm really chuffed with the bits and bobs which I did pick up - so here we go!

1. I picked up this really cute makeup bag from bloomingdales, which I am going to keep inside my handbag - and protect my bags lovely interior from those fantastic times when lipstick and eyeliner lids decides to conveniently come off whilst inside my handbag - but never any other time! does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?!

2. Sephora by OPI nail varnish in Metro Chic - Of course I had to pick this up! its a really unusual colour and unlike anything else in my collection. Its a smokey purple tinted grey, very unique and lovley for autumn.

3. Sephora smoothing primer - I have never really felt the need to use a primer before, but I recently tried a sample of hourglasses mineral veil primer and was amazed by how it left my skin looking and feeling. Sadly, I can't afford to splash out on that at the moment, so I thought I'd give this smoothing primer by sephora a try instead and I've been really impressed. It doesn't feel as luxurious on my skin as the mineral veil but it does leave my skin feeling smooth and gives a lovely matt finish as a base for my makeup.

4. Eos Lipbalm - I spotted this at the till as I was paying for something else and was enticed by the unique packaging! I'm not sure how good this works as a balm, but it smells delicious (I can't remember the exact scent but I think its summer fruits) and the packaging is very cute.

5. NYC blushable creme stick in Plaza Pink - Although we do have some NYC products in the UK, we don't have the blushable creme sticks so I thought I would give this one a try. Plaza pink is a shimmery peach/pink, a really pretty colour but it also contains some glitter which I'm not too sure about. I've only swatched this at the moment so I will give you a proper review once I've worn it a few times, but on first impressions it blends really nicely, it not at all sticky and has a lovely smooth, sleek finish :)

6. CHI Silk Infusion - I had a mini version of this which featured in my holiday essentials post, and I love it so much that I picked up the 50ml version :) I use a pea sized amount on the ends of my hair once it has been towel dried and it leaves my hair silky, soft and smelling lush!

and thats everything! let me know if you would like a proper review of anything from this post and have a lovely weekend :)

Review : L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara

Hi Ladies,

For years I have switched between the same few mascara's (benefits bad gal, Stila's major major lash and L'oreal voluminous in case you were wondering!) and although new mascara's promising longer, more luscious lashes are always appearing on the market I've never really felt the need try anything new and have stuck to the motto of ''if its not broken don't fix it!''

My mum, on the other hand rarely buys the same mascara twice and her latest purchase was L'oreals volume million lashes mascara which I swiped from her makeup bag as soon as I saw the amazing gold packaging (sorry mum - a replacement has now been purchased!)

I'm really enjoying using this mascara and it might even be sneaking its way into my favourites! For me it is one of those mascara's which works much better once its dried out a little. I have naturally quite curled lashes, and to begin with applying this was a bit of a nightmare - its quite a wet mascara and I would end up with it all over my eyelids (not a good look!) but a couple of weeks on its much better.

The main thing which interested me about this mascara (aside from its amazing packaging!) was its ''anti clump wiper''. This distributes the product really evenly amongst the bristles and gets rid of any excess giving relatively clump free application. The actual wand is plastic with evenly sized bristles which taper at the ends making it really easy to reach smaller lashes. It is quite a chunky wand, and has some flexibility which makes it nice and easy to use.

The thing I have been most impressed with, is the separation this mascara gives. I always tend to go for mascara's which give lots of volume which can sometimes come at the cost of good separation of your lashes, but this mascara seems to achieve both to a reasonable extent. Having said that I wouldn't class this as a particularly good lenthening mascara (but you can't have everything I suppose!)

Overall I've really enjoyed using this mascara, and will definitely consider repurchasing. It gets a thumbs up and 7/10 :-)

Hope you're having a great week!

Product Rediscovery: Jelly Pong Pong Lip Orchid :)

Hi Ladies,

In the interest of saving some pennies for my upcoming holidays, I've been tightening those purse strings and using up makeup items from my collection instead of going out and buying new products. In doing this I have found some absolute gems! Golden oldies which I had completely forgotten about, and even a few products which I had never even used (why I do not know!) like jelly pong pong's lip orchid in bouquet :)

This is a gorgeous shimmery peachy/coral pink. It is much more like a balm than a gloss and does not feel at all sticky or drying. I have been using this both on its own for a natural touch of colour to my lips or over a nude lipstick like elf's natural numph to really brighten it up and give a really fresh, summery look :)

In the past I have been left a little underwhelmed by jelly pong pong products which I think is probably why I neglected this for so long. All I can say is I'm so glad I rediscovered it and it is now sat in pride of place on my dressing table, also how cute is that packaging?!

Have a fabulous weekend :)
