Ins and Outs :)

Hi Ladies,

Hope you've had a lovely weekend, I thought it was about time I filled you in on my ins and outs :)

In
Festive Adverts on the telly! - I absolutely love the festive adverts that have started popping up this week. The John Lewis advert anyone? - adorable! and I actually squealed when I heard ''holidays are coming'' during one of the X factor breaks on Saturday night!
Plants Vs Zombies - My boyfriend has an Iphone and I am absolutely addicted to this game, Its probably for the best that I don't have an Ipone as I would get absolutely nothing done.
Jessie J - I love who you are, Its such a fantastic album, Jessie J is definitely one of my favourite artists at the moment.
Winter Woolies - I bought a lovely wooly headband from New Look (with 30% off what a bargain!) the other week in preparation for not one, but two nights watching fireworks. I get awful earache sometimes when its cold and this keeps my ears warm and toasty. I did plan an outfit of the day with my new cosy clothes but it was too dark by the time I had this brain wave, so i'll try to do this asap!
Cute paperchase lunchboxes - Can you remember my cute cupcake lunchbox? Its gone missing! So I was chuffed to bits when I spotted these gorgeous little lunch boxes in paperchase with 20% off a couple of weeks ago, they definitiely brighten up lunchtimes!

Clearing out my summer wardrobe - Needs to be done, but is one of those jobs I just keep putting off argh!
Getting up whilst its still dark - Everytime I wake up I expect it to be about 2am but no, that really was my alarm going off and its time to start getting ready.
Being enticed by offers at the supermarket - Dear oh dear, whenever I go grocery shopping I'm always enticed by offers on things which I don't really need. Right now I am chomping my way through a family sized tin of miniature hero's as they were on offer at the supermarket and as everyone seemed to be putting them into their trolly I felt compelled to aswell! why oh why!

February Ins and Outs :-)

Hi Ladies,

I thought I would try and do an ins and outs post once a month, so as we are getting towards the end of Feb (yikes!) I thought I would get the ball rolling :)

In

My Birthday - Its my birthday next month - yippeee! I have no idea what I would like so I'm hoping for a few suprises, I'm looking forward to having a nice meal with family and friends and lots of yummy birthday cake!

Baking - I have really got the baking bug lately, I've baked something different every weekend for the past five weeks, the best (as voted by family and friends!) have been cupcakes and mars bar crispie (amazing!). I use this recipe for my mars bar crispie and it is delicious, I am absolutely in love with this website at the moment - It has loads of fabulous sweet and savory recipe's which are super yummy and easy to follow :)

Sheer Blonde healthy attitude spray - I am really happy with the condition of my hair at the moment, and one of the product which I think I need to thank is this leave in nourishing spray. I have had this for yonks and have used it intermittently, but after having a look at the ridiculous amount of hair products I have, I decided it was time to start properly using them up and this one was first in the pile. I spray it liberally all over my hair after washing and then blow dry it. It leaves my hair feeling soft and silky and the ends seem not to dry out as quickly as they used to.

Primark - I went to primark the other day and picked up some great bits and bobs without spending too many pennies, watch out for a post on them soon :)

Holidays - My summer holiday is booked and I can't wait! I'm already looking out for nice holiday clothes :) we're going in August this year so I've got a little longer to wait, but hopefully it will be worth it.

So much to do so little time! - This is a how I feel at the moment, There just doesn't seem to be enough minutes in the day for me to get everything I need to do done! I'm going to concentrate on trying to get as much done as possible this week then reward myself with a super lazy weekend (fingers crossed!).

Christmas Time Ins and Outs :-)

Sorry its been a while, hope you're all ready and excited for Christmas - I definately am (excited that is - ready....not so much!) I thought I'd give you a little update with my current ins and outs :-)

In

Revlon photoready foundation - I ran out of my holy grail foundation last week (Stila's illuminating skin foundation) and as this has a similar concept I thought I'd give it a try. A week in and I am pretty impressed! This is a really good colour match for my skin (I'm using 002 vanilla) its light and has great staying power.

Costa frosted mint hot chocolate - Heavenly!

Christmas Decorations - I love having the Christmas decorations up in the house, it always looks so empty when they go down! We have a real Christmas tree this year which looks fab!

The Puffy Pony - This is a hair styling tool which my mum bought me from Claires accessories. It is basically a comb which you put just above the hair band of your pony tail then let your hair fall over it. It has helped me achieve some fabulously voluminous up do's!

Love Actually - I adore this film, My favourite part is below - It brings a tear to my eye every time!

The weather - My goodness its cold! it seems to be rarely out of the minus figures at the moment, I'm currently sporting two duvets on my bed and my beloved uggs rarely leave my feet!

Pens...without lids on...in your leather handbag - Enough said!

Wrapping Christmas presents - I love buying presents for people, but wrapping them not so much! Especially ones which are awkward shapes, I always seem to cut the wrapping paper just a little too short too - what a fail!

X factor - I'm sad its over! I liked Matt, but I really wanted Rebecca to win. Who were you rooting for?

Hi Ladies

I've just settled down with a cup of tea and a biscuit so I thought I'd give you a little update on things with me in the form of an ins and outs post (who doesn't love these!).

In

MAC brule eyeshadow - I'm loving this eyeshadow at the moment, it's perfect for effortless ''no makeup'' makeup, and looks fab all over the lid with winged liquid liner. My go to look at the moment!

Getting active - Last week I went to two aerobics classes and my first ever yoga class (which was so relaxing!). I felt so refreshed and full of energy afterwards, I can't wait to go back this week!

Christmas shopping - To spread the cost of Chrimbo I have oficially started my Christmas shopping! I've only picked up little bits and bobs so far, but Its made me so excited! I know its early but I'm feeling a little festive already! :-)

Marc Jacobs, Lola - Since the cold weather has definitely started I decided it was time to put down my summer scent (Nina by Nina Ricci - I love this) and change it up a little. I got Lola for Christmas last year and it is lovely - Light, fruity and floral :)

The Million Pound Drop - I was addicted to this programme last time it was on - and I am again! I think the concept is fab and I even roped the boyfriend into playing along with me last night (We didn't make it past three questions - massive fail!)

Brrrr its cold in here! - I can't believe how quickly it has become so cold. I've already got out the scarves, mittens and hot water bottles! It also seems to absolutely tip it down every time I walk into Uni at the moment - time to invest in a properly waterproof coat I feel!

Nude lipstick - Don't get me wrong, I still love my nudes but at the moment I've been really enjoying wearing brighter lippies, MAC's Snob is my current fave :)

Teeny tiny bottles - I've run out of my Sephora primer after less than a months use. why oh why can you only buy a o.o5 oz bottle!

Hi Ladies

Its been a while since I did one of this posts, so I thought I would fill you in with my current ins and outs :)

In

Lush dream time temple balm - I picked this up a couple of weeks ago as sometimes I have real trouble switching off and getting to sleep on a night. This smells really soothing and relaxing and I do think it may have helped a little bit! The lush sales assistant told me that this was being discontinued so I'd pick one up soon if you want to try it :)

NYC liquid eyeliner in jet black - I really like NYC cosmetics they're really affordable and their nail polishes are fantastic! I have used this liquid eyeliner daily since I bought it, and it was only £1.99 what a bargain!

X factor - Its boot camp next week and I really enjoy X factor once the first round of auditions are out the way ( I can't stand watching the bad auditions - ultimate cringe!)

Disney - I've just come back from a few days at disneyland Paris with my best friend, I had such a fun time and it was a great way to finish the summer. I like going on the rides but my favourite part of being in disneyland is definitely the parades :)

Notice how grey the sky is in the 2nd picture - it makes the castle look a bit scary! It absolutely tipped it down an hour or so after I took that picture!

Opaque packaging - You think you've got loads left then one day you've completely run out with no warning...very bad times

Kitten heels - I know they're coming back into fashion but they're definitely not for me, even if they do have a very very cute name!

Umbrella's - Why oh why do I always buy the pretty but not so sturdy umbrellas which blow completely inside out when its not even windy! I almost took off like Mary Poppins the other day!

Hi Ladies!

Its been forever since I did one of these posts so I thought it was about time I filled you in with what's in and what's out for me at the moment :)

In

Hair braids - I've really been enjoying plaiting my hair in all sorts of different ways this summer, and after all your lovely comments on my how to fishtail braid post, I'm definitely going to do a few more hair how to's - next up the hair headband!

Soap and Glory Girligo - Initially I wasn't particulary impressed with this moisturisng mist, but after rediscovering it a couple of weeks ago I have been absolutely loving it! Its a spray so its super convenient to use, It smells divine and absorbs really quickly - I think of it as a lazy way to give skin a quick boost of moisture!

The return of X factor (soon!) - I know, I know - But I love this programme! X factor, a cup of tea and a biscuit on a saturday night - bliss!

Cinema trips in 3D - I've recently been to see Toy Story 3 (loved it!) and Step Up 3D (loved the dancing, but thought the storyline was veryyyyyy weak!) another cinema highlight was discovering a new favourite Ben and Jerrys flavour - cherry garcia - yummy!

River Island - I think river island have had some fab things in lately, and I picked up a couple of bargains in the summer sale. Most notably my new handbag which I was so chuffed to pick up for half price after eyeing it up for weeks!

Out

Hayfever - I'm really suffering with it at the moment, runny nose, itchy eyes - the lot! and even when its raining (which brings me on to my next gripe!) nightmare!

The weather - It rains, then its sunny for a little bit, then it rains even harder - Please come out sunshine I need to get my wear out of my summer clothes!

My MAC msf natural - I love this, but not since I dropped it and it shattered all over my bedroom carpet. Very sad times.

Hi ladies!

Hope you're having a great weekend, I havn't done one of these posts in a while so I thought I would fill you in on my current ins and outs :-)

Essie Nail Polishes - I bought my first essie nail polish the other day and I'm really impressed! the fomuation is lovely and the colour is divine - NOTD coming soon!

Flip Flops - Oh yes, I wore my havaianas the other day (with jeans!). I know its not summer yet but it was a lovely sunny day!

You! My lovely readers! - I reached 300 followers the other day and I just want to say a massive thankyou, especially to all of you who leave me such lovely comment on my posts - you are all fantastic!

Face and hair masks - I keep a basket of face and hair masks in my bathroom, and I tend to use one of each every week (or more if I've had a bad week!) I find they're a great pick me up if I've had a bad day or if I just feel like a pamper, i've popped a couple of my favourites below :)

Revision - anyone else revising for exams right now - I feel you! come on we can do it!

streaky fake tan - I am terrible at applying fake tan, I just never seem to be able to get it right! any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Uncomfortable shoes - why are they always your prettiest most expensive shoes?! my feet are so sore today!

♥ MAC Hue lipstick - I know I only mentioned this in my last post but the more I wear this lippie the more I love it! I will add a swatch of it onto my last post when I get chance :-)

♥ My new blog layout - I've had a bit of a change around with the look of my blog, I've added a product of the week section and made it (hopefully!) a bit less cluttered and easier to read, let me know what you think!

♥ River island - I've bought some fab things from river island lately, especially slogan tee's and accessories.

♥ BarryM's Clear mascara and eyebrow definer - How on earth did I live without it?!

♥ Britains got talent is back on our screens this saturday - I can't wait!

OPI's Black cherry chutney - I adore this nail varnish and find myself reaching for it all the time at the moment, nails of the day post coming up!

The BBC's new programme Over The Rainbow starting this weekend - I love these kind of programmes and I think Charlotte Church will make a fab judge!

bye bye uggs, hello pumps! - I love my uggs to bits, but it has been nice to wear pretty pumps now the days are getting a bit sunnier. I bought a really cute new pair from topshop last week and I've worn them ever since!

New York - My boyfriend booked for us to go to New York this summer as a suprise for my birthday and I can't wait! I've never been before and its somewhere I've always wanted to go, I feel very spoilt!

Essays and exams - They're always in my out's!

Jumpers which leave fluff on everything they touch - I have a lovely jumper from river island and I always forget why it is I never wear it, I soon realise when I put it on!

That broken half a biscuit left in the bottom of a biscuit tin - always a disappointment when you have a lovely cup of tea and no biscuits to dunk. (this happened to me last night!)

I'm so glad its friday! I'm off work tomorrow (yay!) so I'm going to have a lovely lie in and a nice chilled out day - can't wait! So - whats in and out for me at the moment?

Getting a pay rise at work - Its not much more but every little helps! :-)

Lush! I bought my first ever lush item the other day - the comforter bubble bar and I love it I was amazed when my bath went all pink and bubbly! I'll definately be paying lush a visit again soon - any recommendations?

Tea and biscuits - who doesn't love tea and biscuits!? They're helping me get through my uni work at the moment. I particularly like lotus caramelised biscuits, does anyone else like these? yummy yum :-)

I've been so busy this week I've barely had time to stop and just relax, so whilst I can grab a minute I thought I'd make a quick cup of tea and fill you in on my ins and outs :-)

In

Optrex Actimist Eye Spray - I picked this up from boots the other day and I adore it, it hasn't left my handbag! has anyone else tried it? I wear contact lenses every day and often suffer from dry eyes, this product makes them feel refreshed and hydrated!

Nando's - I went to nando's the other night and I havn't been in ages! It just reminded me how much I love the place, lemon and herb chicken yum yum!

Greys Anatomy - I got the first season of greys anatomy for christmas and I've just started watching it, I love it! I'm trying to pace myself so I don't end up watching 10 episodes in one night (it will happen!)

Glee - Another programme which is definately right up my street!

Holidays - I've just booked my summer holiday for this year yayyyy! I love holidays and can't wait to go already! Here is a pic of me on holiday last year, I am stood outside Cartier but sadly I could not persuade my boyfriend to buy me anything from there! haha!

Cold rainy days - why do I ALWAYS forget my umbrella?!

Loosing my too faced herbal eye concealer - This is literally one of my every day most loved products but as I am on project 10 pan I am determined not to buy a replacement!

Soap and glory hair supply - See post below, I tried to donate this to my sister but on hearing what I had to say about it she doesn't want to try it either!

My mobile phone - its got to that time of year when I'm really bored of my phone but I'm no where near my upgrade time - does this happen to anyone else?!

Hi Ladies,

I can't believe a week today it will be Christmas day! I'm so excited! I thought I'd fill you in on my current ins and outs

In

Snow! It has been snowing all day today and it looks so pretty outside - however its far too cold when I open the door for me to venture out!

Sparkly/glittery makeup - Fabulous for the christmas party season!

The pantomime - I'm going on monday night and I cannot wait, I love panto!

Day off :-) today was my day off work and I am still my pj's and dressing gown! I have had a great day relaxing and doing nothing! - However from tomorrow I am working 9 hours every day untill christmas day - bad times!

Atrixo - Its keeping my hands lovely and moisturised this winter, I love their handbag friendly sized pots :-)

Christmas meals and parties! I went to two this week and had such a fun time, its great when everyone is in the festive spirit! (see yummy christmas party lunch below!)

Out (not many this time yay!)

Wrapping - I know I know bah humbug! I'm really good at it if the things are in boxes/rectangular however my wrapping is appauling if they're not!

Ugg boots + the rain/snow - Its too cold to wear any other footwear but I don't want to ruin my lovely grey uggs in this weather!

As its getting closer to the end of the week (friday tomorrow yay!) I thought I'd fill you in on whats in and whats out for me :-)

In

New moon! - I went to see it last night and I really enjoyed it, I'm torn between Edward and Jacob though - I love them both! I havn't read the twilight books but I've asked for them for Christmas!

Advent Calendars - I have one from Marks and Spencers this year, my boyfriend brought it round for me yesterday so I got to have three chocolates this morning - yum yum!

Layering Scarfs - Its so cold at the moment, I've taken to wearing two scarfs! I normally twin a patterned scarf with plain scarf, and I actually really like how it looks!

Christmas Parties - I have quite a few Christmas parties to go to next week and I'm really excited, I've already got my outfits planned!

Getting home from uni/work to a really cold house! I think its about time we put the heating on a timer!

Running out of lots of essential makeup items at once, this week I have run out my fave foundation, under eye concealer and mascara!

dry skin - the cold weather is really drying out my skin, especially on my hands. Its a good job I have Atrixo!

X factor Semi finals this week end - How has it got this far already!? i can't believe its the finale next week, my saturday nights will not be the same once X factor has gone!

I thought I'd enlighten you on what i'm loving lots and....bahh not so much this week :-)

Stila illuminating skin foundation - I mentioned this when I first started blogging, although pricey is is my absolute favourite foundation, I normally save it for special occasions but I've been wearing it pretty much every day lately because I love it so much!

Primark leg warmers - I recently bought some cream ones with a little pattern on and they look so cute under my ugg boots - lovely and cosy too!

Sparkly jewellery - I'm really enjoying cocktail rings and sparkly studs at the moment :-)

Starting my christmas shopping - I love buying presents for people and I've already started christmas shopping - I feel so organised!

Rainy days - Even the triple protection of a hat, a hood and an umbrella cannot save my hair from frizzing in the rain at the moment!

I'm a celebrity get me out of here - I can't stand this programme! and the celebrities in it this year.....who?!

loosing various makeup items in my super messy room - I am definately going to tidy it tonight!

My favourite bag being on the verge of breaking due to carting around all my huge uni text books in it - sorry bag! :-(

Ripping the split on my brand new pencil skirt as I got into the car to go to work, then having to wear it with a big split up the back all day - bad times!

wristlets - I'm finally ditching my massive clutch bags on nights out in favour of teenie cute wristlets which make it much easier to dance the night away! my new suzie smith one fits my phone, pennies, camera and even essential make-up in - excellent!

Plimsoles from primark - so comfy for walking to and from uni, go with everything and for £2 you can't grumble!

the sleek storm pallete - Been using the gorgeous colours in this palette for day and night looks all week I love it!

buying stationary for uni - who doesn't love buying pretty new stationary?!

schwarzkopf gliss hair repair shampoo - Already raved about this product, it is amazing!

getting my ugg boots out again in the cold weather - they're so comfy!
