My lovely new primark bag :)

Hi Ladies,

I picked up this bag a couple of weeks ago, and as it is around heading off to Uni time (I remember it well, enjoy it anyone who is!) I thought I would share it with you as it is perfect for carrying around uni books or using if you are heading off somewhere for the day and need a bag with a bit more space as I did went I went to visit one of my oldest friends last weekend! :)

I spotted this bag quite literally the moment I walked into primark and it was one of those ''I have to have it!'' moments. I love the studded detail around the sides and it is a lovely neutral beige colour which will go with pretty much everything. I had been looking for a large shopper style bag for a while and this one fitted the bill perfectly. Also at £12.00 it was a bit of a bargain too!

Have you picked up any gems in primark lately?

Hope you're having a great week :)

My Emmakisstina prints (interiors post #1)

Hi Ladies,

I recently moved house and thus my new room was a total blank canvas and I have had a fantastic time decorating it! (most posts on that coming up). I knew I wanted some really girly prints to go on my wall, and one night whilst browsing etsy I came across EmmaKisstina illustrations. I instantly fell in love with Kristina's prints and spend about two weeks pondering over them and deciding which ones to pick! I eventually went for the Hermes birkin bag, and the chanel chance perfume prints - although I am pretty sure I'll be purchasing a few more in the not so distant future, I have my eye on the classics print for my study :)

I am so pleased with my prints! They were delivered super fast all the way from Sweden, and were really reasonably priced. As soon as I saw them I couldn't wait to get them up on my wall! I picked up these frames from Tesco for around £5.00 each and they look perfect in them. I went for the prints in the smallest size of 13cm x 18cm.

I love having something a bit different which you wouldn't see on the high street. My prints have had so many compliments since I put them up and they look lovely against my cream walls. I will be putting up a sort of room tour post sometime soon so you will be able to see how lovely they fit into my room :)

You can find out more about Kristina and her gorgeous prints at her website she also makes beautiful scarves. I was not asked to do this post, and I bought these prints with my own pennies I just love Kristina's work so much that I wanted to share it with you all :)

Hope you're having a great week!

Daisybee Bakes! (my best cake yet)

Hi Ladies,

Over the weekend it was my boyfriend's mum's birthday. I really enjoy baking, and since I was diagnosed with coeliac disease and started eating gluten free I have loved the challenge of trying to create gluten free bakes which taste as good as their gluten filled counterparts! So after watching an episode of The Great British Bakeoff (my current TV love). I donned my apron and decided I would bake a 4 layer birthday cake complete with mini fondant icing figurines of their two border collies (all gluten free of course!). Four flat as a pancake sponges later I was not feeling quite so confident, but after a lot of patience and perseverance it all turned out perfect in the end and I was super chuffed with the result.

I really enjoyed making it, and it went down well with everyone at the Birthday BBQ! :) I would love to go to a cake decorating class, I find baking really relaxing and enjoyable.

Next up - A formula 1 car for my boyfriends birthday - uh oh!

Hope you have a lovely week, and let me know if you would like to see more of my gluten free bakes :)

Empties #1

Hi Ladies

I love reading empties posts so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon :) I don't tend to use up enough products to warrant a monthly post so I thought I would do one each time I have accumulated a good bunch of empties, so here is my first post!

St Tropez wash off instant glow - This is my go to instant tan. It gives a lovely bronzed glow and I find it much easier to apply than other wash off tans I have used. It is a little more pricey at around £12, but I much prefer it to other brands I have tried.

Head and shoulders itchy scalp care shampoo - Bit boring really but this is the one shampoo which never leaves my shower. I do use others now and again, but I consider this my ''everyday'' shampoo. I get the large bottles and this one has lasted me around 9 months which is fab!

Lush Snow Fairy - I bought this in the Christmas sale and saved it for ages as I love the scent of this shower gel and didn't want to use it up! I finally opened it at the beginning of the summer. Its a really girly bubblegum scent, I will definitely be stocking up on this again  at Christmas!

Oilatum Cream - I use this on my eczema, It is a product which I keep in both the large size and the smaller size like this one which is perfect for travelling.

Dermalogica Active Moist - My all time favourite moisturiser. This is pricey but works great on my normal-combination skin which is prone to break outs at the moment. I have already repurchased this and would definitely buy more dermalogica products if I could afford to!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - I started using Liz Earle products around April of this year when I started having problems with my skin, this is the only product which I have repurchased so far. I love how this gets every last bit of my make up off and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh.

17 Falsifeye - I love this mascara and I don't think I have purchased any others for at least a year now! It is very affordable and gives great volume.

And that's everything! Hope you enjoyed this post :)
