My NYX Round Lippies! :)

Hi Ladies,

I just thought I'd give you an overview of my NYX round lippies, I do have a couple more but I couldn't find them (they're probably lurking in the bottom of various handbags - sorry! I'll add them in when I come across them!). I think the NYX round lipsticks are great value for money, they have a fantastic colour selection and the formulation of the lipsticks is lovely - good pigmentation, glide on easily and not drying at all. I ordered most of mine online, as sadly you can't get many NYX products here in the uk *sob!* so shipping does bump up the price a little bit, but I still think they're worth it! :)

They are from left to right - Paris, Sierra, Snow White, Earth Angel, Thalia and Castle

My top three are definitely Paris, Snow White and Castle. Paris is a gorgeous barbie pink, perfect for the summer it has a really lovely glossy finish. Colour wise I would say it is pretty close to MAC's Pink Nouveau. Snow white is a true red - Slightly blue toned it looks amazing on nights out for a really striking look and Castle is a lilac/pink with a lovely shimmery finish - really pretty and unlike anything else in my collection.

Outfit of the day number 3 - I'm back! :)

Hello ladies!

Sorry I've been absent for most of this month, I have been really busy with super stressful exams but they're done now so I'm back with lots of fabulous summer time blog posts for you! :) I have a whole hair care series coming up very soon, but I thought I'd start off with an outfit of the day :)

Dress- French Connection

Sorry this isn't the best photo for an outfit for the day (you can't even see my shoes but they are my trusty old Kurt Geigers which regularly appear on my blog!) I didn't think to take a photo before I went out so I just cropped one from the night, this was for my end of year university ball :)

The dress is actually one of French Connections spring/summer 09 designs but I love it so much that I thought I would bring it out of the old wardrobe for the occassion! Althought you can see my makeup I went pretty mimimal with Smashboxes champagne e/s all over the lid (a gorgeous colour watch out for this appearing on my blog soon!) and then the girls aloud Nicola eyelashes which I adore! I dried my hair with the remmington spin curler then clipped it up with bobby pins in a loose messy bun.

Nails Of The Day - Essie Carousel Coral :)

Hi Ladies,

Essie's Carousel Coral is definitely my nail colour of the moment, Its bright and colourful but still manages to look fabulous with pretty much anything - Summer in a bottle! I normally change my nail colour every few days but I like this one so much that I've reached for it almost every time I've gone to paint my nails recently :)

Its a lovely true peachy pink coral colour, I'm definitely going to take this on holiday with me as I think it will look lovely with a tan! I really love the finish on this nail polish, it is super glossy. The formulation is lovely too, really easy to apply and great colour after two coats. Big thumbs up for Essie!

I'm really sorry for the lack of posts recently, I'm literally days from starting my exams - I have 7 and they don't finish untill the end of this month so I have super lots of work to do. ut I will definitely still be updating every now and again in my little revision breaks, just not quite as much as usual :-) Good luck to anyone else who is going through exams at the moment!
