Empties #2

Hi Ladies,

I thought I would share with you my second basket full of empties. I really enjoyed the first empties post I did and I think its a great way of keeping track of what you've used up and whether you'll use it again :)

1. Batiste Brit Dry Shampoo - I've spoken about batiste many times before, and Brit is one of my favourite scents. I am currently using the graffiti version which I really like too but I am sure I will repurchase this at some point.

2. Liz Earle Eye Bright - I love Liz Earle, but this is a product which I have been a little disappointed with. I like the idea of using this to sooth and refresh tired eyes (I wear contacts and my eyes often get dry and irritated). Although I don't dislike this product, It didn't do much for me so I won't be repurchasing.

3. Dove Hair therapy nourishing oil care express conditioner - One of my haircare favourites I use this about once a week and it leaves my hair soft and silky. I think this is the 4th time I have repurchased this product.

4. 17 Falsifeye mascara - They is my favourite mascara, it gives big voluminous lashes, and I always have a back up for when I run out.

5. Witch anti blemish liquid concealer - I really like this concealer, it covers blemishes well and gives good coverage. I also like the idea that it contains blemish fighting ingredients. I use the colour light, and I have picked up another one of these. My only negative with this concealer is that it does not contain very much product at all and it runs out quite quickly.

6. Ellnet Hairspray - My favourite hairspray, this never leaves my shelf!

7. Escada Taj Sunset perfume - I have finally used the last drop of my favourite summer perfume, like the other Escada scents I adore this one and I will definitely look at purchasing it again in summer 2013!

and that's anything, have you tried any of these products?

have a great week,

Boots Haul :)

Hi Ladies,

I thought I would share with you some things I have picked up from boots lately. I am terrible when I go into boots, I go in for one thing and always come out with at least a couple of extras! I've started making more use of my boots card, checking for any vouchers on the machine in store and remembering to use the coupons I get sent in the post and as a result I have collected quite a few points which I am hoping to use for some stocking fillers, so maybe picking up a few extra bits every now and again isn't so bad! (hmmmm...!)

Anyway, here are the bits and bobs I have picked up lately.

I love the dove hair therapy range, and I always repurchase the nourishing oil care express treatment conditioner. When I saw that the entire range was on offer in boots I thought I would try a few of the other products. I haven't used the head protector yet as I still have plenty of my tresemme keratin smooth to use up but I have used the intensive repair conditioner and leave in treatment both of which I really like!

Cetaphil was also on offer (£3 off if I remember rightly) so I thought I would stock up on the cleanser and moisturiser. I only started using the cleanser a couple of months ago but I really like it, it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh without making it feel dry or tight. I have never used the moisturiser but I as like the cleanser so much I thought I would give it a go when I run out of my beloved dermalogica active moist.

17 falsifeye mascara has been my go to mascara for well over a year now, I love it! You can see my review of it here :)

and finally boots own brand extra firm hold hairspray which is around £1.00. I tend to buy boots own hairspray and hair mousse as I try not to use them too frequently, and they do the job perfectly fine when I do need them :)

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Empties #1

Hi Ladies

I love reading empties posts so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon :) I don't tend to use up enough products to warrant a monthly post so I thought I would do one each time I have accumulated a good bunch of empties, so here is my first post!

St Tropez wash off instant glow - This is my go to instant tan. It gives a lovely bronzed glow and I find it much easier to apply than other wash off tans I have used. It is a little more pricey at around £12, but I much prefer it to other brands I have tried.

Head and shoulders itchy scalp care shampoo - Bit boring really but this is the one shampoo which never leaves my shower. I do use others now and again, but I consider this my ''everyday'' shampoo. I get the large bottles and this one has lasted me around 9 months which is fab!

Lush Snow Fairy - I bought this in the Christmas sale and saved it for ages as I love the scent of this shower gel and didn't want to use it up! I finally opened it at the beginning of the summer. Its a really girly bubblegum scent, I will definitely be stocking up on this again  at Christmas!

Oilatum Cream - I use this on my eczema, It is a product which I keep in both the large size and the smaller size like this one which is perfect for travelling.

Dermalogica Active Moist - My all time favourite moisturiser. This is pricey but works great on my normal-combination skin which is prone to break outs at the moment. I have already repurchased this and would definitely buy more dermalogica products if I could afford to!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - I started using Liz Earle products around April of this year when I started having problems with my skin, this is the only product which I have repurchased so far. I love how this gets every last bit of my make up off and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh.

17 Falsifeye - I love this mascara and I don't think I have purchased any others for at least a year now! It is very affordable and gives great volume.

And that's everything! Hope you enjoyed this post :)

My Current Favourite Mascara :)

Hi Ladies

I thought I would share with you the mascara which I have been using for the last few months. I was actually introduced to this mascara by my mum who was recommended it by a sales assistant in boots. My Mum loved it and suggested I try is as my trusty loreal volume million lashes was drying out and I liked it so much that I bought two :)

The mascara I'm talking about is 17's falsifeye. I like long, voluminous lashes and I find that this mascara gives me just that without any clumpiness. I also find that it doesn't leave my lashes feeling dry or give that crumbly fallout that some mascaras do.

The brush is thick and slightly tapered making it easier to get to hard to reach lashes. I find two coats is enough to get the look I want without any clumpiness. The only problem I have with this mascara is that like many it does dry out quite quickly.

17 is not a brand I usually buy from, but I have already repurchased this mascara and definitely will again. Its also very reasonably priced at £6.49 :)

Big thumbs up from me! Have you tried this mascara before? what is your favourite mascara at the moment?

REVIEW: Boots 17 Infinite lash mascara

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I havn't updated in a while :-( I had an exam at uni and have been at work all weekend but I'm back in action now with a review of a 17 product which I bought a couple of weeks ago from boots - The infinite lash mascara.

From what I can remember I think this cost about £4.99, when I initially opened it I was a little disappointed, the brush was small, plastic and bendy (I love big bristly mascara brushes like benefit badgal and loreal voluminous) However I decided to give it a fair try, and I was plesantly suprised!

The consistancy of this mascara is really nice, it doesn't clump my lashes or flake off during the day. It actually provides really good definition and adds length to my lashes. The only negative is that is does need topping up during the day something which I find you often need to do with cheaper mascaras.

So, overall a thumbs up from me and 6/10 :-)
